Higher Learning provides academic and college readiness programs to high school students.
What We
Offer

Year-Long Series
We introduce diverse high school students to our unique progressive curriculum drawing from the liberal arts, the martial arts, and the healing arts. Groups of 10-15, 8-10 workshops in a series.

College Advising
We provide advising at different stages of the college application process. We advise in light of the current challenges faced by diverse students, including the end of Affirmative Action and the attack on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Individual Workshops
We lead individual workshops on a range of relevant and timely topics suited for diverse high school students. Examples include: African American Studies, Voting Rights, Policing & Prisons, and Reproductive Rights.

Guest Lectures
We collaborate with high school teachers (e.g., African American Studies, English, Social Science) to deliver guest lectures to their students on a range of topics. Examples include: Slavery, & Empire; Black Women Writers; Social Movements.
